Clinical Supervision for LMSWs

For LMSWs working toward clinical licensure in Texas | In person in Mansfield or virtual

You've earned your MSW, passed your exam, and you're putting in the hours. Now you need the right supervisor — someone who will invest in your growth as a clinician, not just sign off on paperwork.

As a board-approved supervisor (LCSW-S, Texas license #63414), I provide clinical supervision for LMSWs completing their supervised experience toward the LCSW.

What You'll Get From Supervision With Me

My path through this field has run through crisis intervention, behavioral health, and social work in both educational and medical settings — and I bring all of it into supervision. Together we'll work on:

  • Case conceptualization and clinical decision-making — thinking through your cases with a supervisor who has seen a wide range of presentations

  • Building your therapeutic identity — exploring modalities beyond talk therapy, including somatic approaches, mindfulness-based work, expressive interventions, and how to know when each fits

  • Ethics, documentation, and the realities of practice — the things graduate school touches on but real caseloads teach

  • Preparing for independent practice — so that when you earn the "C," you're ready for what comes with it

My style as a supervisor mirrors my style as a therapist: I act as a guide. I'll challenge you, give you honest feedback in a supportive environment, and expect effort and accountability in return — because that's what will make you a strong clinician.
