It has been some time since I last shared any updates. So, here I am. No AI enhancements, just me being transparent with what has been going on the past few months.
Last year in 2025, I completed my training to receive my supervision designation to help other master level social workers enhance their skill set to work in clinical settings. I love teaching, and want to enlighten other social workers of helpful interventions, network connections, and fully understand what it means to work in a private practice setting while providing clinical expertise. I want to be the guide for other social workers help build resilience when navigating this challenging field. I have had my own challenges in the process, and want others to know that they don't have to go through it alone when building their career.
In February of 2026, I partnered with The Hope Place to expand on opportunities for clients to have more access to resources and other forms of care. This new location offers animal-assisted therapy, plenty of room for walk and talk therapy, along with connections to other therapists in the same building that provide family/child counseling. Each therapist at the practice is seasoned in the field and specializes in assisting others who have experienced trauma using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
In addition, I am thrilled to have completed my initial training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). While this intervention can offer great relief, especially those who have suffered any forms of trauma, I continue to provide an eclectic approach to therapy as what may work for one person may not the other.
I will continue my commitment to network with other providers in the area to provide clients resources when I may not be the right fit for them, or if they are in need of additional care.
